Trina Solar Roadshow puts Installers on Fast Track

Trina Solar Limited has announced the launch of its live Roadshow across the UK. Between 2nd and 10th October, a Trina Solar event truck will tour the country, engaging the UK’s solar PV installer community with a live and interactive experience.

The Roadshow’s first stop is in Birmingham on 2nd-4th October to coincide with Solar Power UK, the country’s largest solar PV exhibition. It then moves on to North London (8th October) and to South London (10th October).

In the spirit of the company’s close working relationship with the Lotus F1 Team, the motto of the Trina Solar Roadshow is “Get on the Fast Track”. The experience draws on the themes of strong teamwork, high performance, superior design, and innovative solutions, all of which are just as crucial in the solar PV industry as they are in Formula One. Installers will be experiencing at first hand the unique benefits of the company’s innovative products, solutions, and services. They can find out how Trina Solar makes PV installations quicker, simpler, and more efficient. Dedicated Trina Solar experts will be holding a series of live demonstrations and provide installers with practical tips.

The truck interior has been designed to resemble a Formula One racetrack, with visitors guided through sectors dedicated to each of the Roadshow themes. In the “Strong Team” area, guests will learn about the Trina Solar Training Academy and Partner Plus, the company’s exclusive installer programme. The “High Performance” zone will demonstrate the industry-leading performance and efficiency of Trina Solar modules, including the world record-setting Honey technology. Trina Solar’s black product range for aesthetic residential and commercial installations will be the focus of the “Superior Design” section. Finally, the lap of the truck concludes in the interactive “Innovative Solutions” area. Here, installers will have the opportunity to assemble and dissemble an array using a Trinamount installation system, and take a closer look at the Trinasmart power optimisation and monitoring solution. The Roadshow also offers visitors the chance to test themselves over three laps in a Lotus F1 simulator and see if they really are on the fast track.

Ben Hill, Head of Europe at Trina Solar, said: “We are seeing strong demand for our products in the UK market. Taking our innovative products, solutions, and services out on the road is an opportunity for the local installer community to experience Trina Solar at first hand.”

Richard Rushin, Sales Manager Trina Solar UK, added: “With the Training Academy and Partner Plus programme having been launched successfully in the UK earlier this year, many installers are already benefiting from the training opportunities, support, and incentives that Trina Solar provides. We believe that once they have gone for a spin around the Roadshow truck, many more will want to get on the fast track with Trina Solar.”

Having completed the UK leg of the tour, Trina Solar takes its Roadshow truck to Germany, visiting Dortmund, Hannover, Radeberg, Bad Hersfeld, Mannheim, Bamberg, Neu-Ulm, Ingolstadt, and Munich.
