The New Danfoss DLX Creates A World-class Impression

Experiencing the new Danfoss DLX inverter first-hand, gives a sense of quality. From its die cast aluminium case to its full-colour, user-friendly screen and built-in monitoring solutions, the DLX stands out from the crowd as a high-end piece of technology.

At this year’s Intersolar exhibition in Munich, this quite literally proved to be the case as hundreds of visitors headed to the Danfoss stand for a first look at the latest addition to a growing solar inverter range.
Eye-catching display sends clear signals
The detail that caught visitors’ eyes first on the new DLX was the full colour display screen with its touch button navigation panel. Fully integrated into the streamlined design of the front plate, the display is designed to be easily readable under a variety of lighting. Data can be quickly accessed both via the display but also through the built in webserver. Here it is shown in a clear simple graphic form, with easily understood graphs. This is a great advantage for the end user who can simply monitor the output and status of their new inverter, in a choice of languages.

The strong type
Even though the new DLX’s classical design lines drew admiring comments from first-time viewers, it’s what was going on beneath this smooth exterior that really got the crowd’s interest: The world-leading efficiency of 97.3% raised quite a few eyebrows – especially given that the DLX is a transformer-based inverter.

Not long to wait
The DLX has proved extremely popular with professional customers, with anticipation building rapidly towards the sales release in October.
