Solar PV test specialist Seaward Solar is hosting a series of free hands-on training courses across the country to help installers to fully understand the electrical testing requirements of solar PV systems.
The comprehensive sessions will give practical guidance on the requirements for testing solar PV installations as set out by the new BS EN 62446 standard and in line with MCS requirements.
The course will clearly explain how to carry out installation commissioning tests and site surveys as well as complete system documentation offering participants the opportunity to have a go on real test equipment designed to meet MCS installation requirements.
Full explanations and demonstrations of all required solar PV electrical tests will be provided to ensure that solar PV electrical installations are installed safely and effectively and that systems perform to required levels.
The half day courses are being held from the end of April and through May at venues across the country.
Attendance on the training courses is free and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
