The Solar Digest for Solar Power, Solar Energy and Photovoltaic PV News - Training and Seminars
BRE The PV Installers Event
- Published: Friday, 26 August 2011 09:27
The number of accredited PV installers is topping 3,000 and many are reporting brisk business. The recent changes to the FIT's have dramatically changed the shape and size of the industry.
In light of the Which magazine undercover report on the differences between the service and knowledge of differing installers, it is essential that the PV industry is seen as high quality and professional. Solar technology is high technology, rapidly developing new products and is of growing importance to reducing the UK carbon footprint. Installers need to ensure they remain up to date with best practice and industry developments.
About the seminar
This event is specifically for proactive PV installation companies; be they small companies, rapidly growing installers or part of larger construction organisations. The purpose is to learn about how the industry needs to gear itself up for the ‘Green Deal', ensure every installation is the best it could be and hear about new suppliers to the industry. This evening event is the first for Northamptonshire & Leicestershire and has been arranged to allow attendees to network with peers and share best practice. Attendees will also hear about business support and development funding available from the Future Factory and the Sustainable Construction iNet.
Why you should attend?
• Find out how the ‘Green Deal' could affect your PV installation business
• Learn how to optimise PV systems for maximum energy and financial return
